What is Pentecost Day?
Pentecost Day is a significant celebration in the Christian faith, commemorating the moment when the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles, as described in Acts 2. Often referred to as the "birthday of the Church," Pentecost marks the beginning of the apostles' mission to spread the teachings of Jesus Christ across the world.
Celebrated 50 days after Easter, Pentecost highlights the empowerment of the apostles through the Holy Spirit, enabling them to share Christ’s message in many languages. This day is a reminder of the ongoing presence of the Holy Spirit in the lives of believers and the Church’s mission to spread faith, love, and unity.
